Amber Strainer

Senior Project Manager

Amber began her career in the construction industry in 1998 as a Project Coordinator with American Restoration.

In 2000 she was approached by Project Control to come on board as their Project Coordinator dealing with a national venture of general contracting roller coaster installations. In early 2001 Amber was moved out to USAA to be involved with their campus renovation of nearly 2,000,000 SF of office space.

In 2005 Amber joined Metropolitan Contracting as Project Manager. She estimated, scheduled, and managed multiple interior finish-outs and ground-up projects. Amber was quickly promoted to Senior Project Manager eventually overseeing an on-site team to renovate 300,000 SF of an occupied building in a 10 month schedule.

Recently she decided to make a career move to Drash Contracting Company as their Senior Project Manager. Her responsiblities include Project Management, Marketing and Contract Negotiations.

Amber has worked for the Baptist Health System, Christus Santa Rosa, Methodist Health System, Hudson Americas, Limited Brands, Weston Centre, Double Tree, Rackspace, Hixon Properties, QVC, Sears, and hundreds of finish-outs.
