Andrew "Andy" Drash

Andrew began his career in the construction industry in 2000 as an Intern with Project Control of Texas and Escalade Group. With Project Control, Andrew served as a Field Superintendent on the AT&T Arena (San Antonio Spurs Arena). With the Escalade Group, Andrew served as an Assistant Estimator. After graduating in May 2002 with a degree in Construction Management, Andrew began employment with Metropolitan Contracting Company as an Assistant Superintendent, progressing to Assistant Project Manager.

While employed with Metropolitan, Andrew was on-site during the construction of the City of San Antonio’s One Stop Center; Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union’s Corporate Office; Renovation of the 7-Story Tobin Building (Linda Pace Lofts), and Sonterra III Medical Office Building.

In 2005, Andrew left Metropolitan as a founding partner of Lackey Drash Construction. He was responsible for the firm’s day-to-day construction operations and project scheduling. He was directly responsible for the construction of Shavano I and II Office Buildings, BMW Service Center Expansion and Law Offices of Amberson Rogers McClanahan. Andrew also provided direction during the new interior finish out in the Shavano I and II buildings. Finish out construction services were provided for Standard Pacific Homes, Excellence Mortgage, Legacy Homes, and Olsen Energy.

By late 2006, Andrew became a founding partner in Drash Contracting Company. Since establishing the firm, he has provided project management and direct supervision of new construction, finish-outs and remodel/renovation projects. These projects have include the Office of Texas State Senator Carlos Uresti, along with multiple medical office finish outs for Christus Santa Rosa at Westover Hills, Law Offices of Luke Soules, new ground-up construction of Hess Market with the interior finish out for Perfectly Wrapped and many projects for Methodist Healthcare and Healthcare Realty and CBRE.

Recent projects that Andrew has provided project management for are Westover Hills MOB II for Trammell Crow Company, CenParkway, Westover Town Centre, Liberty Mutual Insurance, Wereldhave USA, San Antonio and CentroMed de Barrio (multiple remodel projects).

Currently, he is providing project management for an 11,000 sq. ft. ground up medical office building including interior finish-outs as well as managing other medical office finish-outs for Christus at Westover Hills, The Donkey Barn for the San Antonio Zoo and numerous other projects.
